06 Days Sumatra Holiday Challenge

Day 1 Arrival – Bagan Activity L.D

Our guide will welcome you at Minangkabau International Airport, and when already all of airport process, directly go to Sungai Pinang Village where you will spent few days. Arriving on this village, you will have an amazing welcome ceremony by local traditional art group. Have lunch at local restaurant with local food and then visit whole village to introduce area. At afternoon, you will join with local fishermen to prepare your night journey on the sea with Bagan (fisher boat local called). You will spend all of night at Bagan to catch fish with traditional way and enjoy the simple seafood at Bagan. You will get grill fish are provided by fishermen. Your night journey will finish till the morning.

Day 2 School Visit – Pukat Activity – Local Art Lesson B.L.D

After return from Bagan, you will have local breakfast with fisherman then take a shower at your home stay and visiting elementary school to teach English and some knowledge. Lunch at local restaurant, your next activity is following Pukat Activity (Pukat is a kind of fisher net which work with small traditional boat), you will follow this from begin till end of process. At night, you have traditional martial art lesson (Silat).

Day 3 Replanting Coral Reef – Trekking – Camping B.L.D

After breakfast you will get a short presentation from local NGO which is exist in environment problem about coral reef and mangrove and then go to the beach to do replanting coral reef and mangrove. At mid day after lunch (meals boxes are provided in location), go trekking to the jungle to see some animals as possible such birds, gibbons family, red monkey and snake. Prepare the camping tent close to river and take swim a lot. At night you suggested rest much to get a comfortable self.

Day 4 Follow Gibbon – Visit Gibbon Sanctuary – Turtle Island B.L.D

Wake up early morning to following gibbon activity, what they eat and behavior etc until 10 AM and return to the village, breakfast on location. Going to Marak Island, an island where Gibbon Sanctuary exists. Take to know how the sanctuary process and what result of their project. Your journey will continue to Turtle Island and here you will have possibility to see egging process and turtle live, but in this case we have turtle season as possible to see. You will sleep on the tent and you will spend your day and night on the beach with fire and barbeque.

Day 5 Sunbathing – Snorkeling – Padang B.L.D

Simple satisfying breakfasts are providing at Turtle Island and you have time to snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing. Mid day the journey continue to Padang for have good meals as lunch in local restaurant then go shopping in traditional market. Check in hotel and enjoy hot shower in four star hotels, dinner at sea food local restaurant.

Day 6 Sayonara

We accompany you till the airport for your next destination and sayonara. Thank you.
